Meet Jonathan, Co-Founder, COO, and Designer at Sila Movement. Jonathan, born and raised in Kentucky, chose this fight, not because he had to, but because silence was never an option. As the co-founder and COO of Sila, he doesn’t just work behind the scenes, he builds the scene. A content writer by study and a designer by heart, his vision and leadership have helped shape Sila’s mission and movement from the ground up. He played a key role in the Never Erased: Palestine collection, creating pieces that speak for a people the world works hard to silence. His designs are memories. His work is resistance.  Jonathan is relentless when it comes to justice. Educated, outspoken, and unapologetically real, he is one of the loudest, clearest voices in our community. He stands tall in the face of erasure , reminding us that freedom is not just a belief, but a responsibility.  Well-read and always ready to educate, he holds space for truth in a world that would rather bury it. He walks with us, fights beside us, and carries our stories as if they were his own.   

Yehia Moldan is a Palestinian Swedish lettering artist who has discovered his artistic voice at the intersection of language and design. Growing up in Gaza and later relocating to Europe, his connection to Arabic deepened significantly. Initially captivated by the Arabic script for its balance of functionality and beauty, Moldan’s true creative calling emerged in Arabic lettering. He does not view his work as revolutionary or an attempt to simplify the art form. Instead, his designs celebrate the richness and elegance of the Arabic letter, allowing it to speak for itself. Moldan believes in the profound power of lettering to evoke the boundaries between necessity and possibility. For him, art is not about making grand statements but more of an individual expression of a perception. Stories Behind Yehia’s designs: Intifada The Intifada “الانتفاضة” design symbolizes defiance and the courage to resist oppression, both personal and collective. It’s about resilience, the courage to defy limits, and the power of standing up when the world pushes you down. Wearing it is a quiet, powerful statement of refusing to be silenced. The Key of Love This design, shaped like a key yet spelling "love" in Arabic “حب” , symbolizes both a deep-rooted connection and a longing for return. It reflects the Palestinian key which represents the right of return for displaced generations. The key is a reminder of homes left behind, of memories and of hope. Through love, the path to home remains open. Map of Palestine The curves and the lines of the Arabic word “حب” meaning love are carefully stylized to mirror the map of Palestine. The blending of "love" and Palestine symbolizes the deep connection between love and identity. Palestine, a place tied to memory, struggle, and hope, is embraced by love, an emotion capable of healing, uniting, and inspiring. Watermelon Slice The word “فلسطين “ Palestine in Arabic shaped like a watermelon slice evokes a connection to Palestinian identity and resistance. As the watermelon became a symbol of resistance in the 1970s when displaying the Palestinian flag was banned. This design tells a story of Palestinian resilience. It captures the essence of a people who, even in the simplest things, found ways to express their identity, love for their homeland, and resistance against erasure. Gaza Gaza “غزة” at its heart tells a story of perseverance and solidarity. “We will keep marching together until the road disappears.” A promise to stand by one another no matter how hard or uncertain the journey becomes. It captures an unbreakable bond that is stronger than the challenges ahead. And the path, even if unseen, is the one we share together.  Handala Handala is created by the Palestinian artist (ناجي العلي) Naji Al-Ali, the design portrays a ten-year-old boy with his back turned, he represents the spirit of Palestinian resistance and the pain of displacement.The boy became a voice for the voiceless, a witness to the suffering of the Palestinian people, and a symbol of their resilience. Handala stands as a reminder of the ongoing struggle for dignity, identity, and the right to return to Palestine.
